TEXAS TRIUMPHANT

Just back from Austin, where we had a blast, and, amazingly and so happily, walked away with the award for Best Student Narrative Short! The hardware meant that my bag was searched going through security (I opened my bag when I returned home to find a little note from the Homeland Security Department - creepy) but having the chance to join David Milch, Sydney Pollack and Shane Black on the podium was something we shall remember for a while.
